T.H. DIRKSEN DEAD; FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS NOT COMPLETE
Theodore H. Dirksen, who was engaged in the furniture business in Springfield for the past fifty years, died at his home at 523 South Second street at 9:30 o'clock Sunday night.
Mr. Dirksen, who has been in ill health for several years, had been in a serious condition but a short time. He was 63 years old.
Mr. Dirsken with his father, Anton Dirksen, started the present firm of A. Dirksen and Sons fifty years ago. At the time of his death, he was president and treasurer of the firm.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna M. [sic] Dirksen; two sons, Theodore, jr., and George; and one daughter, Anna.
