A daughter of Dr. William Artemus and Grace Moore Payne. Wife of Alvis Watt Daniel. (Granddaughter of Wright and Marinda Branson Moore, who lived at Valley Home estate on Belews Creek, and ran Moore's Mill.) A dear friend of Catherine "Kate" Harger and Thomas Ruffin Pratt, Jr. Elsie played and taught piano, and lived in the Madison, NC area most of her life. Her husband, Watt Daniel is buried at Pine Hall Presbyterian Church. (Not together physically, but together forever in spirit).
