Frances T Oppedisando, 89, Formerly of Warren Street, Wife of The late Joseph Oppedisano, died on Monday April 11, 2005 at the Connecticut Baptist Home after a brief illness.

Born in Meriden March 15, 1916 the daughter of the late Carmelo and Carmella Guarnieri Ticino, She was educated in Meriden School System and was a lifelong resident of Meriden
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and a former member of many church groups. Mrs Oppedisano loved to make crafts and was well-known for her delicious lemon meringue pie.
She id survived by a daughter and son-in-law Angeline and Mario Maletta of Bristol, daughter in Law Maria Oppedisano of Meriden" seven grandchildren, Maria Palermo, Michael and Mario Mallet, Ella Burdick, Claudia Landa, Patricia Westwood and Maryann LeClair: 16 Great-grandchildren: Two sisters Vera Hineline and Mary Vincenzo of Florida : One Brother, John Ticino of Meriden: she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs Oppedisano was predeceased by a Son Joseph C Oppedisano, a sister and a brother. The funeral will be held on Thursday April 14 at 9:45 a.m. from the John J Ferry Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street,. and at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church,. Burial will be In Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden, Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 13 form 5 to 8 p.m
