Carmello Ticino, age 81, of 42 Gardner Street,Died last Night at his home his after a short illness.
Born in Italy, he as lived most of his life in Meriden where he was employed for 35 years at the New Departure Division of General Motors. He Retired 14 years ago. Mr Ticino was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
Survivors rs include His Wife Carmela Guarnieri Ticino: Two Sons John Ticino of Meriden: Joseph Ticino, Wallingford: four daughters , Mrs Joseph Oppedisano, Mrs Joseph Vincenzo, Mrs Dominick Sgambelluri, and Mr Bryon Hineline, all of Meriden: 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren: nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. from John J Ferry Funeral Home and 9 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery
