Anna (Fortunata) Sgambelluri, 77 Wife Of The Late Domenick Sgambelluri, a Resident of Silver Springs Nursing Center, died Tuesday June 9, 1998 After a Long Illness.
She was born on September 10, 1920 In Meriden, a daughter of The late Carmello and Carmella Guarnieri Ticino. She had been a longtime resident of 82 Columbus Ave Meriden .
She is survived by two son and daughters in law, John and Audrey Sgambelluri of Meriden and Vincent and Pam Sgambelluri Of Santa Maria Calif: a daughter and son-in-law, Josephine and Anthony Day Sr of Meriden. Four Grand Children, Cheryl Sgambelluri, Allison Sgambelluri, Anthony Day Jr, and Dominick Sgambelluri: A Brother and sister-in-law John and Helen Ticino of Meriden. Three sisters and a Brothers-in-law, Frances Oppedisano of Meriden, Mary Vincenzo of Florida, and Vera and Bryan Hineline of Meriden: also several nieces and Nephews. She was Predeceased By a brother, Joseph Ticino.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 12, in the smith Rizzo Funeral Hone, 226 West main street. She will be interned next tho her husband in Scared Heart Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at the funeral home.
