Sampson H. Springsteen age 83, died Wednesday, March 22,1967 in Lapeer. Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Saturday at the Baird-Newton Funeral Home, Rev. Arnold Bracy officiating. Burial in Rich Cemetery. Death was due to an extended illness. Mr. Springsteen moved here from Mt. Morris 3 years ago. He was a former Chevrolet Motor employee. Surviving are: 2 daughters, Mrs. Edna Grinnell of North Branch and Mrs. Margaret Colosky of Swartz Creek; 2 sons, Frank of Goodrich and Lawrence of Washington; sister, Mrs. Minnie Butterfield of Lake Orion; 17 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren.
