Mrs. Ruby Lee Mace Wooten, 77, of 703 North Main St, died Dec. 25, 1996 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
Funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at Carothers Funeral Home in Stanley. Visitation is 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
A native of Clover, SC, Mrs. Wooten was the daughter of the late Sidney Clayton and Nellie Mae Ruff Mace, and wife of the late Millard Fidell Wooten. She was preceded in death by three children, Dorothy, David, and James Wooten. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters, Lydia Murray of the home, Lou Ellen Caldwell of Oakboro, NC, Judy McCulley of Dallas, Susie Smith and Evelyn Bell, both of Gastonia; three brothers, Gene Mace of Spencer Mountain, Sidney and Herbert Mace, both of Gastonia; sister, Lora Mae Hill of Gastonia; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
Carothers Funeral Home of Stanley is in charge of arrangements.
