DALLAS

Lloyd Gene Mace, 69, of 135 Tower Road, died peacefully at home on Sept. 1, 2007.

He was born Oct. 21, 1937, in Gaston County, son of the late Clayton Sidney and Neely Mae Ruff Mace.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2 p.m. Saturday, Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, Gastonia

INTERMENT: Private

VISITATION: After service at the funeral home

Mr. Mace was a very generous man, a wonderful Father and Grandfather. He will be greatly missed. He served in the National Guard for over 8 years.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 46 years, Marilyn Mace of the home; daughters and son-in-law, Rebecca and Danny Clark, Rhonda Mace, all of Gastonia; grandchildren, Kandy, Kassey and Danielle Clark, Amanda and Jason Beer; great grandchildren, Roger Gage Knight and Destiny Knight; sister, Lorah Mae Hill; many nieces and nephews

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Other than his parents, brothers, Herbert Mace, Sidney Mace, Floyd Mace; sister, Ruby Wooten
