Services Saturday For Mrs. Etta Hopper-

Funeral services for Mrs. Etta Viola Hopper were held Saturday afternoon, May 12, at the Forest City Christian Church with Rev. Merrill Ferguson officiating.

Mrs. Hopper, daughter of Phillip Henry Sinclair and Chloe Ann Parker Sinclair, was born near Forest City, Mo., April 28, 1875, and died May 10, 1962, at the Fairfax hospital at the age of 87 years. She was the last of a family of 13 children.

She was united in marriage to Elijah Hopper on Jan. 1, 1893. They were parents of seven children. Mr. Hopper and a son, Glenn Oscar preceded her in death.

Survivors include: five daughters, Mrs. Clate Schaeffer and Mrs. Fred Yoder, both of Forest City, Mrs. John Schaeffer and Mrs. Leonard Watson, both of Compton, Calif., and Mrs. Robert Markt of Oregon; a son, Lloyd Henry of St. Joseph; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Burial was in the Forest City cemetery.
