Glenn Oscar came to brighten the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Hopper, August 27, 1901, near Forest City, Mo. Glenn loved to be at home, was obedient to his parents, was very much interested in his work, devoted to his friends. In his last days, when in the bed of suffering, he showed great appreciation for the acts of kindness of his friends and loved ones.

After a lingering illness of several weeks, during which time all was done by the family, friends and physicians, on June 26. 1918, he passed from this world of suffering to one where such can never come.

He confessed hIs faith In Christ and was baptized in 1916 at Forest City, where he was a faithful attendant of Sunday school until the time of his sickness.

He leaves father and mother and brother, and five sisters, and many relatives and friends to mourn his loss.

Funeral services were conducted at the Christian church, June 28, by Albert Martin, assisted by O. H. Loomis, of Savannah. Interment in Forest City cemetery.
