She was born on Nov. 18, 1922, in Canton, Ill., to Otis and Lola Standard Lingenfelter. She married Hugh Don Hudson on Oct. 25, 1951, in Barryville, Ark. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1998, in Peoria.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; two daughters, Barbara Wilmon and Cynthia Hudson; three brothers, Arthur, Hank and Jack Lingenfelter; and three sisters, Evelyn Castelanni, Leota Heath and Loretta Murphy.
Surviving are three daughters, Beverly (Danney) Hougham of Peoria, Kelly Hudson of East Peoria and Edythe (Donald) Kelly of Scottsdale, Ariz.; one brother, Leonard (Lois) Lingenfelter of Monroe, Iowa; and four sisters, Carol Gibson, Iona (Jesse) Fowler and Betty Van Houten, all of Peoria, and Mickey Williams of Sunnyland. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, Debbie Roarke of Cary, N.C., Jeanette Foster of Akron, Ohio, Jackie Jones of Columbus, Ohio, Danney Hougham II of Waverly, Ohio, Donald Hougham and Sabrina Hougham, both of Peoria, Steven Brandt of Bartonville, Justin Allison of Bellevue, Lach Kelly of Peoria, Andrew Kelly of Austin, Texas, and Andy Williams of Huntsville, Ala.; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Eva worked as an assistant cook for District 150 at Manual High School before retiring in 1984.
She was a loving and caring mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. She was a big Cubs fan and loved to go fishing with her kids and grandkids.
Services will be on Friday, March 17, 2006, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, March 16, 2006, at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Burial will follow services at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
