WALLACE - Mary Catherine (nee Cates) passed away peacefully Jan 9, 1996. Predeceased by her husband, Hugh, in 1952. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Theresa Ann McManus; son Hugh Cates Wallace, daughter Marguerite Sikler, 6 grandchildrn, 4 great-grandchildren and all her many other family membersa nd fiends. Mary was born on Oct 8, 1906 in North Vancouver, one of 7 children of Charles Henry and Mary Wilhelmina Cates. She loved life and all things in life. The most pleasurable thing in life to her was giving to others and asking nothing in return for herself. We all love you, Mom. Funeral Jan 15, 1996 at 11 a.m. Bell Funeral Chapel, Vancouver. Interment in North Vancouver Cemetery.
