Mitchell - Ellen Elizabeth Mitchell, beloved mother, passed away peacefully on Aug 16, 1983, 69 years of age. Ellen (Nell) was born in North Vancouver in 1914 and spent all her life loving and caring for Walter, her predeceased husband and two surviving children and their families; son Dave and daughter-in-law Jeannette, daughter Jeannie Menzies and 4 grandchildren; also her immediate family, Tress and Chuck McManus, Mary Wallace and Capt. John H. Cates. Funeral service at Hollyburn Funeral Home, West Vancouver, 11 a.m. Fri, Aug 19. Interment to follow at the North Vancouver Cemetery.
