The tombstone attached and death date of 8 Oct 1837 belongs to his son Jeremiah Wright, NOT this Benjamin Wright. He likely died 1831 -1840, since with wife on 1830 census, but not with her or any children in 1840. One source says he was buried on his son Adam's farm, more research needs to be done.

Ben Wright Mountain in Randolph Co, NC was named after him.
Migrated to Indiana with his second wife. Many of his first children had already settled in Indiana.
1830 Indiana, Marion County, Wayne Township, living next to his youngest daughter, Celia Wright and husband, Nathaniel Bell. Nearby were his sons Jordan and Judge Adam Wright.
1840 Census: Indiana, Marion County, lists all children, but not Benjamin.
