Peter Wright, son of Richard Wright, Sr., and his wife Ann was born in 1754 and served in the Revolution War. He was given only twenty shillings in his fathers will in 1784. However, we find that Richard gave 200 acres to Peter before his death and that probably is why he was only given the 20 pence. Peter is seen in the 1790 and 1800 Randolph County, North Carolina Census reports. He is listed in 1779 in the North Carolina tax payers tax list. In 1800 his son Greenberry Wright is also listed. Both Peter and his son Greenberry Wright are listed in the 1810 Harrison Co. Census of Indiana. A Peter Wright, farmer, over 45, female over 35 with two other females, is listed in Harrison Co., Indiana census for 1820, we believe this may have been Richard Sr's son Peter. West Lee Wright's Bible gives the following: Peter Wright, son of Richard and Nancy Wright, died Oct. 1821. This was West Lee's Uncle Peter.

Gravesite Details
As of August 2018 we do not know where Peter is buried, but he could be buried near his son Greenberry Wright in the Holstein Cemetery near Beechwood, Indiana.
