AGED RESIDENT DIES SUDDENLY -- Wife Finds His Body In Early Morning--
"How are you now, George?" There was no answer. The wife returned from the window where she was raising the shade to let in some of early yesterday morning's sunlight and approached the bedside of her husband. He lay still and quiet. She touched him. He was dead. GEORGE W BARNES passed away at his home, 429 West Government Street, at the age of 59 years. He had been suffering from heart desease the past few days but his condition was not believed to be serious. Mrs Barnes had just returned from the kitchen and raised the shade.
