Irene M. Arth, 91, of Marshall, died Sunday, May 6, 2007, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Rev. Kevin Gormley will officiate. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall.
She was born Aug. 24, 1915, in Marshall, the daughter of the late Charles and Katie Brown Lynch. She was married to Louis P. Arth on Dec. 9, 1945, in Marshall; he preceded her in death on Aug. 1, 1984. She was a resident of Marshall for all of her life. She had worked at the Blosser Crippled Children's Home and Home for the Aged, as well as Mar-Saline Manor. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society at the church.
She is survived by one son, Larry Arth and his wife, Sheila, of Marshall; three grandsons, Blake, Brandon and Brian Arth; and several nieces and nephews.
