Deceased Name: Evelyn G. Hall

Evelyn G. Hall, 74, of 3701 16th Ave. SW, loved the Lord and went to be with Him on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001, in St. Luke's Hospital. Memorial services: 10 a.m. Thursday, Hillside Wesleyan Church, by the Rev. Richard Ernst and the Rev. Randy Richter. There will be no visitation. Cedar Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Ronald, are a son, Michael Hall and wife Donna of Phoenix; three daughters, Patricia Phillips and husband Tim of Cedar Rapids, Pamela Hall of Marion and Jennifer Hall of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Nina Reed of Greenwood, Ind.; four brothers, Kenneth Gilliam of Des Moines, Roland Gilliam of Oelwein, Gene Gilliam of Pilot Mound and Richard Gilliam of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; four grandchildren, Marcea Oetting, Mikkee Hall, Mindee Hall and Mychal Hall; and a great-grandchild, Bret Oetting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, William Gilliam, Don Gilliam, Paul Gilliam and Thomas Gilliam; and two sisters, Ella Jeanette Harris and Nettie Overbeck.
Evelyn was born Oct. 27, 1927, in Farmington, Ill., the beloved daughter of William and Eunice Settles Gilliam. She married Ronald I. Hall on Jan. 6, 1947, in Troy, Kan.
Evelyn worked at Collins Radio and also at HACAP. She was a member of Hillside Wesleyan Church. Evelyn loved her Lord, to draw and crochet.
