Born March 8, 1935, in Guilford Township near Pond Bank, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Orville L. andReba Bumbaugh Stoops.
She did seasonal work at Musselman's.
She was a member of Pond Bank Independent Church, Pond Bank; and attended Fayetteville Church of God, Fayetteville, Pa.
She is survived by her husband, David C. Hardsock, Sr., whom she married July 19, 1952; four sons, David C. Hardsock, Jr.of Pond Bank, Stephen I. Hardsock of Finksburg, Md., Manuel E. Hardsock of Chambersburg and Brian K. Hardsock of Fayetteville; four sisters, Faye McKee of Altoona, Isabelle Miller of McConnellsburg, Vivian Stoops of Holidaysburg, Pa. and Connie Seals of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.; three brothers, Eugene Bumbaugh of Mont Alto, Pa., Glenn Stoops of Pond Bank and Marlyn Stoops of Chambersburg; six grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one infant daughter; one infant son; and one sister, Mary Stoops.
Services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Fayetteville Church of God, 5276 Treher Road, Fayetteville. The Rev. George S. Mouer Sr. and the Rev. Mervil Stambaugh will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, near Quincy.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 South Broad St., Waynesboro, Pa.
