Willie A Burns
Funeral services for Willie Alfred Burns, 90, are planned Monday at 2pm in the chapel of Dunn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Troy Cemetery. The Rev Jom House will conduct the rites.
Born Feb 3. 1885 in Texas Mr. Burns spent his early life in Ravia and Tishomongio. Since 1927 he was a resident of Troy. He was a retired farmer.
He died Friday in a Tishomingo hospital.
Survivors include three daughters, Mr. Willie Mae Rowe, Mill Creek, Mrs. Delores Keith and Mrs. Ruth Leonard both of Oklahoma City; five sons, Theo, Tishomingo, Thomas, Holeman, Wis., Olvis, Ira Joe and Clarence all of Oklahoma City; 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Bearers are Eban Smith, Newt Conley, Dick Morgan, J.A. Lester, Glen Anderson and Woodrow Quentin.
