TISHOMINGO -- Services for Willie Mae Rowe, 87, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Campbell-Watts Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth McCarthick officiating. Interment will be at Mill Creek Cemetery. Born Feb. 18, 1916, in Caney to Willie A. and Mary E. Burns, she died Dec. 9, 2003, in Tishomingo.




She attended school in Troy and was a dinner cook at Western Inn and Pier 7 from 1938 to 1985. She and Everett Rowe were married on May 16, 1953, in Gainesville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept. 30, 1979; three brothers, Theo L., Olvis W., Thomas W. and J.E. Burns; and two sisters, Deloris Adams and Bennie R. Lenard.




Survivors include two brothers, Clarence Burns, Newcastle, and Ira J. Burns, Tishomingo.




Bearers will be Chris Wheeler, Tommy Winkler, Curtis Parker, Guy Combes, Wayne Morton and Joe Clark.
