Funeral for Prominent Rockledge Planter this P.M.

Final rites for Cad L. Beacham, prominent Rockledge resident, were held this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the First Methodist Church of Rockledge, with Rev. C.D. Herrington, pastor, in charge of the services.
Mr. Beacham, for many years a farmer of the Rockledge Community, died in a local hospital Tuesday after an illness of two months. During his life in this county he had made a host of friends, who will mourn his passing.
Active pall bearers were: Carlton Beacham, Douglas Beacham, Otis Beacham, Robert Beacham, Clarence Beacham, Theo Beacham, Cad Wilkes, Sidney McLendon and Edgar Wynn.
Honorary pall bearers were: Dr. Hulme, D.A. Autry, Lewis Dixon, Bill Fuids, Lamar Thigpen, Dan Johnson, Braxton Beacham, Jim Dukes and John Allen.
