Born in Malone, August 21, 1894, she was a daughter of George and Marceline Pelkey Martin and lived most of her life here with the exception of a few years in Syracuse.
She was married to William Derochie, who predeceased her. They spent several winters in Florida before his death.
Survivors include, a son, Gerald of Florida; two daughters, Mrs. Milton (Beatrice) Langlois of Massena and Mrs. W. R. (Marion) Watson of Repton, Ala.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers Harold and George and a sister, Mrs. Harry (Mae) Dennis.
Funeral service were held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame Church. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
