Funeral services for Clarence Faith, who passed away after and illness of only a few hours on Wednesday morning, July 15, were conducted at Hengstler's Chapel. The Rev. Marvin Ritterling, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Cyrus Crandall, Bernard Hazenpflug, Ed Wulff, Kenneth Smith, Cecil Wintz and John Brandt.
Mr. Faith was employed at Scott City, Kan. in construction work at the time of his death. He became ill early in the morning and a doctor was called. Mr. Faith was taken to a hospital but died soon afterward. He was 48 years of age.
Clarence LeRoy Faith was born in Knox County, near Creighton, Nov. 21, 1910 to Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Faith. He was one of 11 children. His mother and twin brothers preceded him in death.
Surviving are his father; eight brothers and sisters, Levi A. of Royal, Mrs. Fred (Minnie) Kumm of Winnetoon, Willis A. of Lyman, Gordon E. and Otto B. of Creighton, Lawrence R. of Morrill, Mrs. Kermit (Amy) Faith of Fullerton, Calif. and Mrs. Alfred (Bertha) Mlady of Bloomfield.
