Funeral services for Gordon E. Faith, 74, were held on Monday, May 13 at the United Methodist Church in Creighton with Rev. Koni Purdy Purscell and Kenneth Purscell officiating.

Interment was at Millerboro Cemetery near Creighton.

Gordon E. Faith, the son of Edward and Louisa (Ickler) Faith was born November 6, 1916 at Creighton and died May 7 at Plainview.

He attended Mars school and on November 4, 1940 he married Eileen Finke at Pierce. He had lived and farmed near Creighton and Orchard until retiring to Creighton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife in 1983, seven brothers and one son in infancy.

Survivors include sons, LeRoy of Lynch and Donald of Newton, KS, daughters, Mrs. Betty Kahland of Lincoln and Mrs. Elwin (Janice) Morrill of Neligh; sisters, Mrs. Minnie Kumm of Keystone Heights, FL; Amy Knuth of Rowland Heights, CA and Bertha Mlady of Bloomfield and eight grandchildren.
