Henry was retired driver for Mason Dixon Lines with over 30 years of service. He was the deacon as Shannon hills Chapel and was a past treasurer and member of the board of directors for the Pinecroft-Sedgefield Fire Department

He was survived by his wife, daughters, Mrs Linda Anthony, Mrs. Diane Hayes, Mrs.Connie Gail Seagraves of Lenoir., sisters, Mrs. Hayes Brown and Mrs James Boone of Westminister, Md., six grandchildren.
