FRANCIS W. BARBER
Word has been received of the recent death of Francis W. Barber, 57, who died at his home in Baltimore.
Born in Carroll county, he was a son of the late Harry A. and Bessie Fossett Barber.
Surviving are two sons, James H. of Harrisonburg, Va., and Francis A. of Baltimore; two daughters, Mrs. June E. Hobson of Finksburg and Mrs. Georgia Lee Lopez of Wilmington, Del.; five sisters, Mrs. Calar Close, Mrs. Sterling Green, and Mrs. Hays Brown, all of Westminster; Mrs. James Boone of Taneytown; and Mrs. Hal Davis Jr. of Smallwood; and two brothers, Woodrow Barber of Greensboro, N.C.; and Vollen Barber of Gamber. Seven grandchildren also survive.
Graveside services and burial will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Camber, with the Rev. William C. Harold, pastor of the Deerpark Methodist Church officiating.
