In the 1860s, Samuel moved his family to Brown County, Indiana, where he established a milling business with his sons.

NOTE: When memorial was created, I had not yet ascertained the exact burial location of Samuel and Frances (my Great Grandparents) although I believed it to be the Vandeman Cemetery on Kent Road near Belmont, Indiana.
UPDATE: I had not been able to return to Brown County Indiana, as I had hoped, in a search to affirm the burial location of my Great-grandparents. However, Ancestry.com recently included Indiana death records in their listings and I was able to confirm that these Great-grandparents are buried in Vandeman Cemetery. Thus, the memorials have been properly placed.
