HENRY F. ANDREWS
Henry F. Andrews of 506 North Branch St., Bennington, died Saturday at Putnam Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
A native of Bennington he was born May 30, 1893, the son of Calvin H. and Hattie (Temple) Andrews. He received his education in the North Bennington public schools. He was employed by the town of Bennington Highway Department until his retirement in 1958.
Survivors include his widow, the former Eva DeBell; two brothers, Harry and Frank, both of Bennington; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral was to be this afternoon at 2 at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home, Bennington, with the Rev. Thomas Steffen, pastor of the Second Congregational Church, officiating.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Bennington Rescue Squad through the offices of the funeral home.
