Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Lee Knifley, 78 years of age, were held from the Tabernacle Christian Church in Adair County with the Rev. Luther Young, Russell Springs, in charge. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Knifley has been in ill health for the past three years and was confined to the Metzmeier Nursing Home for the past year, where she died Friday morning, May 1. She was a native of the Neatsville Community in Adair County and formerly lived on Route 1, Knifley. Surviving are seven children: Mrs. Bessie White, Charlie Knifley, Willard Knifley, and Dallas Knifley, of the Knifley section, Mrs. Irene Cabbell, Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Audry Hartman, Louisville, and Mrs. Ina Cave, Route 2, Campbellsville. The pallbearers were: James Knifley, Garnet Knifley, Gordon Knifley, Billy Joe Knifley, Russell White, and Rollin White.
