Mrs. Clara Eleanora Bingaman, 70, of 810 Potomac Ave., widow of Charles C. Bingaman, died at the Fahrnery-Keedy Home Wednesday afternoon following an illness of two years. She was the daughter of Harry and Bertha Lakins Beard and was born and raised in Welsh Run, Pa., moving to Hagerstown 33 years ago. She was a member of the church of the Brethren and Philathea Women's Bible Class. Survivors include sons, Floyd E. Bingaman, Hagerstown, and Charles H. Bingaman, Maugansville; daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Grumbine, Hagerstown; brothers, George Beard and Clarence Beard, both of Greencastle, Pa.; sisters, Mrs. Anna Bowers, Mercersburg, Mrs. Bessie Guyer, Chambersburg, Pa., and Mrs. Jessie Pike, Greencastle, eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the Rest Haven Funeral Chapel where friends may call. Funeral services will be held at the chapel Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. DeWitt L. Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 7 to 9 Friday evening.
