LEESVILLE -- Services for Willard L. Horton will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the
chapel of Beauregard-Vernon with the Revs. E.J. Dantin Jr. and Larry Whatley
officiating. Burial will be in Fisher Cemetery, Fisher.
Horton, 66, of Anacoco died Thursday, March 12, 1998, in Leesville.
He was a native of Peason and retired deputy of the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include one son, Mike Horton; one daughter, Nelda Frost; six brothers, Ivy
Lee Horton, Alvie Horton, Bill Horton and Willis
M. Horton, Johnny Horton, and Cecil Horton; six sisters, Lucille Dixon, Estelle
Burns and Elsie Clark , Dorothy Sanders, Melba Prewitt and Miriam Eason; and five
grandchildren.
