Willis Muriel Horton, 81, of Anacoco, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, September 7th, 2014 in Anacoco, Louisiana. Visitation will be held at the First Pentecostal Church in Anacoco, Louisiana from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, September 11th, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at the First Pentecostal Church in Anacoco, Louisiana on Friday, September 12th, 2014 at 10:00 am. Bro. C.W. Dowden and Bro. Shannon Buxton will be Officiating. Burial will follow in Fisher Cemetery in Fisher, LA under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home, Leesville, LA.
Mr. Horton was born in Peason, Louisiana to Louis and Mary Horton on February 25th, 1933. He served his country by joining the US Army and served in the Korean War.
Mr. Horton was preceded in death by his parents: Louis and Mary Horton; brothers: Ivy Lee Horton, Alvie Ray Horton, William Louis Horton and Billie Joe Horton; sisters: Lucille Dixon and Elsie Marie Clark.
