Louis Speights Horton, 89, of Anacoco, died in the Fraser
Hospital North, Wednesday, Aug. 12, at 2:15 p.m.
Funeral services were held in the Hornbeck Pentecostal Church on
Friday, Aug. 14, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Doyle Carpenter, and
the Rev. Billy White officiating. Burial was in the Fisher
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
Mr. Horton is survived by six daughters, Lucille Dixon, Elsie
Clark, Melba Pruitt, Estelle Burns, Miriam Eason, and Dorothy Sanders; seven
sons,Ivy Lee Horton, Williard Horton, Merle Horton, Billy Horton, Alvin Horton,
Johnny Horton, Cecil Horton; 33 grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were his grandsons.
