"Mrs. Mary Anderson, 70 years old, former resident of this city, died at her home in Centerville Saturday night at 6:45. Mrs. Anderson is survived by four children: Mrs. M. Christie Sumpter of Minneapolis, Mrs. Kittie Speer of Flint, Mich., Fay Christie of Centerville, and Mrs. Florence Robertson of Albia, and six grandchildren, James, Helen, Bettie, and Jeane Robertson of Albia and Christie and Frederick Israel of Birmingham, Ala. Funeral services will be held from the Lester Jay funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30. The Rev John Hastie will have charge of the service. Burial will be made in the Shaul cemetery."
