He was born in Talihina and had lived in Oklahoma City about 20 years. He was an insurance representative for Homesteaders Life Insurance Co. and a member of Britton Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry D., Little Rock, Ark., and Ronald D., Los Angeles; a brother, Murdo, Tulsa, and four sisters, Mrs. Naomi Middlebrook, Hominy; Mrs. Jim Gallagher, Tulsa, and Mrs. Ralph Lea and Mrs. B. A. Marlar, both of Carlsbad, N. M.
