Mollie Walter Bennett was born in West, McLennan Co., Texas. She married Crat Callen in 1877. They moved across the Red River and settled about 3 miles northwest of Wiley, I.T. about 1895. Crat named his new community there "Bold Springs', after his previous home in McLennan Co., Texas.
