Services for Mrs. Patricia Kay Smith will be held 2 pm, Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with Rev. Bobby Barfoot officiating. Burial will be in the Erin Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Smith, 62, of Union, died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Patricia was a loving mother, wife, sister, and grandmother. She was a friend to all who knew her.
Survivors include:
Husband of 43 years: Harold Smith of Union; Daughters: Stacie Smith Shoemaker and husband Jimmy Doyle Shoemaker of Decatur; Kelley Smith Lee and husband Michael Smith of Union; grandchildren: Casey Shoemaker, Christina Shoemaker, Eli Crenshaw, Kaydon Lee and Austin Lee; 1 brother: Kent Burroughs and wife Tanya Burroughs of Decatur.
Mother-in-law: Ruby Smith
She was survived by several nieces and nephews, Aunts and cousins.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her son, John David Smith, her parents, Carl H. Burroughs and Marie Burroughs, brother, Edmond Burroughs, and father-in-law, Alvis Smith.
Pallbearers: Lynn Phillips, David Tomerlin, Ashley Burroughs, David Everett, Andy Vance, Randy Vance, Mike Driskell, and Bobby Horton.
Honorary Pallbearers: Freddie Ezell, Gerald Ezell, and O'Neal Vance.
Visitation will be held 5-8 pm, Saturday, November 6, 2010.
