James Armstrong, a son of Thomas Armstrong of the First ward, died Wednesday, Sept 16, at his father's house. James was aged 15 years and was a bright, intelligent boy, and had the esteem and confidence of all who knew him. He had just recovered from a severe attack of typhoid fever, and his death was due to exhaustion brought on by the disease. His funeral took place Friday afternoon; interment in the old graveyard.
