Thomas H Armstrong, residing in East Locust alley, died yesterday morning at 7 o'clock after an illness of four months from dropsy and Bright's disease. He was aged 52 years and is survived by a wife and two children, Andrew and Rebecca. The deceased is also survived by a brother, W P Armstrong, and a sister, Mary Armstrong. Thomas Armstrong was born in Carlisle and always resided here. He filled a number of ward offices. The funeral will take place at two o'clock tomorrow. Interment in the old graveyard.
