Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Elizabeth Breason/Bryson married Charles Kitt of Dublin in 1808 probably in Montreal.

Of the children who are not linked below:

Charles:(1810-) married twice, 1st wife unknown, 2nd wife Ann McDonnell. The family were in New York and possibly ended up in St. Clair County, Michigan. Charles had a total of 6 children. Charles and his Son Charles Jr(1845) by his 2nd wife are listed as labourers in the 1861 Canadian Census of Enniskillen Township, Lambton County, Ontario. (right across the river from Port Huron). In 1870 Charles shows up in Marquette, Michigan as Skitts....possibly buried there.

Ellen/Elinor Kitt. Born June 10th, 1825 in Goulbourn, Carelton County, Ontario. Ellen married Daniel Copps (1832, Shangolden, County Limerick, Ireland) on January 25th, 1854 in Fitroy Harbour, Ontario. They had 7 children, one child Edmund Willard ended up in Washington State (he is on Find A Grave). In 1880 US Federal Census the family were living in Willow Township, Crawford County, Iowa. The 1885 Territorial Census for Hand County, South Dakota has Dan and Ellen living there with 2 (Joe and Margaret) of their children. Dan is buried at St. Ann's Cemetery in Miller, SD. Ellen is probably buried with one of her children.

According to a descendant who visited in 2009, a marker for Charles no longer exists.
