Herkimer — Death of Mrs. Emily Richard, 76, widow of Former Sheriff John Richard, occurred Saturday at her home, following a long Illness.
Emily Mary Maheux was born Sept. 23, 1861 at Jersey Field Lake, Hamilton county, daughter Eugene and Pauline Adele Maheux.

She leaves four children, William O., Mrs. Nettie A. Yale, Mrs. Blanche R. Finster and Mrs. Gladys R. Humphrey, all of Herkimer, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
