Norman A. Schneider, 81, of 38 B. Washington St., Chilton, passed away Dec. 27, 1988, at home.
He was born October 29, 1907, in the town of Stockbridge, son of the late Jacob M. and Mary (Ludwig) Schneider.
On Aug 14, 1928, he married Helen C. Langer in Jericho. She preceded him in death on Dec. 3, 1982. He farmed in the town of Stockbridge most of his life. He was a member of St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Kloten, and its Holy Name Society.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Isabell Schneider, Cary, IL; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Leona Pethan, Charlesburg; and a brother, Raymond, New Holstein.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Friday at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Kloten. Burial was in the church cemetery.
