MARIE NEUBER

Word reached here on Wednesday of the death of Mrs. George Neuber which occurred at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Krutzik at Kiel on that morning at 5 o'clock following a brief illness. Mrs. Neuber was at Kiel visiting her parents when taken ill with influenza and her condition grew worse rapidly in spite of all that could be done for her, complications setting in that caused her death. The body was returned here on Thursday and taken to the Neuber home in Stockbridge town where it lay in state until funeral services on Saturday.

Mrs. George Neuber, nee Marie Krutzik was born 24 years ago, spending most of her life at Kiel. For about two years previous to her marriage to George Neuber she lived in this city, being employed part of that time at the Hotel Chilton. Following her marriage in 1926 she and Mr. Neuber made their home in Chicago coming back here a few months ago to spend the winter.

She is survived by her husband, one son, Earl, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Krutzik of Kiel, three brothers, Jacob,John and Joseph Krutzik and one sister, Mrs. John Lambert all of Kiel.

Mrs. Neuber made many friends during her residence in this city, all of whom deeply regret her untimely passing and sympathize with the bereft husband and child.
Funeral services will be held today, Saturday at St. Elizabeth's church, Kloten, Rev. Fr. Rauch officiating with interment in the nearby cemetery.
