He was born in Sheboygan on Dec. 15, 1899 a son of John and Mary Fitzen Krutzik.
He attended Sheboygan schools and farmed in the town of New Holstein under his retirement in 1961.
On Nov. 18, 1925, he married Philomena Meyers at St. Charles Catholic Church, Charlesburg.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein and its Holy Name Society; and Catholic Knights of Columbus Branch 118 of Charlesburg.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, the Rev. Norman Krutzik of Green Bay and Francis of New Holstein; two daughters, Mrs. Arnold (Rosemary) Reindl of St. Nazianz and Mrs. Jerome (LaVerne) Pearl of St. Anna; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; a brother, Joseph of Green Bay; and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Lambert of Kiel.
Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services were at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein. There was a concelebrated Mass with the Rev. Norman Krutzik as celebrant and the Rev. Dominic Giles, assistant pastor at Holy Rosary as assistant celebrant. Burial was in the church cemetery.
