Dies Suddenly
Funeral services for Nathan
Grey, 81, of Sherman Township,
who died suddenly this morning,
will be held Saturday, at 1:00 p.m.,
at the Skeels Baptist Church.
Mr. Grey will be at the Miner-
Mathews Funeral Hime after 2
p.m. Thursday. A complete obituary
will be published next week.

Rites Held for
Nathan Grey
Nathan Albert Grey, 81, of Sherman
Township, died Wednesday,
morning, June 25, in the Gladwin
Hospital, two days after returning
from his winter home in Florida'*
Born in Angola, Ind., on Jan. 27,
1888, he spent his life in Gladwin
County. Mr. Grey was a retired
farmer and a member of the
Skeels Baptist Church.
He was married to the former
Zelma P. Davis in 1911 in Clare
County. She preceded him in
death in 1960.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs.
Marie Dowland, of Higgins Lake;
one son, Perry Grey, of Gladwin;
one brother, Walter, of Gladwin;
onei sister, Mrs. Lydia Poland, of
Midland; nine grandchildren and
seven great grandchildren.,
Rites were held Sunday at 2:30
p.m. from the Steels Baptist
Church. The Rev. Carl Briggs officiated
and burial was in the
Skeels Cemetery. Arrangements
were in charge, of the Miner-
Mathews Funeral Home.
