On June 18, 1945 she married Dean Hollandworth in Vincent, KS. Dean preceded her in death on October 28, 1991. They had been married for 46 years.
She was a homemaker, a member of Christ The King Catholic Church and the Altar Society, all in WaKeeney. She was also a member of Daughter of Isabelle in Gorham. She made wonderful apple pies that her family quickly devoured and she will be remembered for her wonderful cooking skills.
She is survived by her son, Garry Hollandworth, WaKeeney; two daughters, Wynona Wildeman, Warrensburg, MO and LaVonne Weigel and her husband, Allen, WaKeeney; two sisters, LaVerna Schulte, Hill City and Ann Jacobs, Russell; seven grandchildren, Monica Hladky, Dean Weigel and wife, Kathy, John Weigel and wife, Gina, Jim Weigel and wife, Christina, Sheila Campbell and husband, Larry, Erik Wildeman and wife, Ashley, Troy Wildeman; and eighteen great grandchildren, Mikalya, Melea, and D. J. Hladky, Lucas, Logan, and Lane Weigel, Jessie, Cory, and Jack Garner, Hailey, Taylor, and Vanessa Weigel, Travis Wildeman, Kody and Connor Campbell, Cheyannee Bohannon, Hunter and Nicholas Wildeman.
An infant son, Joseph; six brothers, Celly, John, Tony, Rich, Ed, and Willie Brown; and two sisters, Katie Riedel and Mary Brungardt, preceded her in death.
Visitation is 5-7 PM, Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in Schmitt Funeral Home at WaKeeney with a Vigil at 7:00 PM. Services are 10:30 AM, Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in Christ the King Catholic Church with Father Donald Pfannenstiel officiating. Interment is in the church cemetery.
