The remains of Mrs. Ann Durnell, mother of M. C. Durnell and aunt of Mrs. E. M. Gordon, of this city, who died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Lynd, at Alton, Ill., were brought to this city Monday for interment. The body was taken to the home of Mrs. Durnell's sister, Mrs. Rebecca Seabrooks, 323 Thirteenth street. . . Mrs. Durnell was ninety-two years old and was a native of this city where she lived mostly all her life. Her husband, Capt. Jesse Durnell, died about two years ago at Tuscaloosa, Ala. She leaves six children, Mrs. Priscilla Hannon, Mrs. George Lynd, of Alton; George Durnell, of Kansas City; Charles Durnell, of St. Louis; James Durnell, of Centralia, Ill., and M. C.
