"NEW LISBON - The death of Jennie Hurlbutt, widow of the late William Elliott occurred at her home near Crystal Lake, Sunday morning from pneumonia at the age of sixty-four years. She was born in the town of Pittsfield, a daughter of Lealand and Elizabeth (Gill) Hurlbutt. She was united in marriage to William Elliott nearly forty years ago, the most of their married life being passed on the farm where she died. Deceased was a member of the Presbyterian church in Garrattsville. Surviving is one son, Ned Elliott, who since the death of his father ten years ago, has resided at the parental home; one sister, Mrs. Adella Garlick of Chicago and two grandchildren. The funeral was held at her late home Wednesday at 1 p. m. The Rev. E. E. Hutchinson of Morris officiated. Interment in Hillington cemetery."
