Grandma Sarah was born in Clough, Downspatrick, Ireland to Isaac Samuel Smyth and Elizabeth Bessie Bennett. She came to America to marry her brother Tommy's best friend, Richard Lincoln Fielding. They were married July 5, 1892 at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Milwalkee, Wisconsin. They had 7 children. They lived in Butte, Montana, Seattle, Washington and southern California until the passing of her precious Richard 22 April 1927. Sarah was a loving mother, raising her 5 children. They buried 2 of their children as infants. Sarah met a wonderful man John Jacob Kessner. They were married 7 May 1932. They were married until John's passing 16 November 1942. I was told Sarah was a wonderful loving Grandmother.
